Set up a CAPS Check Requestor Account

Once you have received your CAPS Check Employer ID (ID#), follow these steps:

  • From the CCU homepage, select the Create Requestor Account link.
  • Enter your agency's CAPS Check Employer ID# (XXX-##########) and click validate.
  • You will be led to a page through which shows User Name and Password fields; click the "Sign Up" link in the bottom right-hand corner of the log-in box and enter your information.
  • Once you have submitted your information you will be registered and will be taken to the CAPS Check Request form.
  • For future logins, your email will be your user ID and the password will be the one you set up when you initially entered your information.
